Next I started playing around with the coloured designs I had done.
These looked amazing on the mannequin and I loved how they came out bright and
bold just like I had hoped. These also replicated clothing in some ways and it
was fun to play around with the size and placement again. Similar to the black
images the coloured ones also looked best with the images placed in the centre. It reminds me of the cells and veins that would be mirrored for both sides of the body. After trialling them many times it was then time to look back at the photos and
see which ones I liked.

trial projections
After many calls and message conversations with amazon I finally received my projector that I was after. Then the experiments could
begin. I first started projecting the black mirrored images to see what kind of
effects that would create on a mannequin. I loved how it looked and started
playing with the scale and placement of the projections. I was surprised with
how much I loved the images. Most of the time I believe the images looked best
placed right on the center of the body, showing the body’s central point and
replicating the inner workings of the body and how some of it is mirrored inside.
I found that many of my designs replicated clothing and necklines which was a
great help in seeing the context. I started playing with the projections so
that I could get each piece to look as much like a piece of clothing as
possible placing it in the most appropriate place.
