Projections onto a person

After picking out my favourite pieces it was time to trial the work on an actual body, I got my boyfriend to help me project the images onto myself and he took the photographs. I was so surprised at how good they looked on skin. I definitely prefer them on the skin to on the white mannequin. The projection was again bright and bold and it actually did look like clothing already. The overall effect was really interesting and I was able to play around with the size and placement again to see how it would actually work on a body. After looking back through the photos I could see what worked well and which parts I needed to improve on. For example, I was projecting it straight from my computer so the screen was in the background sometimes. This was something that on reflection I need to work on when taking the final photos. Although through editing I could change them I wasn’t to try and take more professional context photos for my overall mood boards for the project.
